A Woman Thinks Her House Is Haunted After Finding Her Laptop Smashed And A Rolled Up Carpet Buried In Her Yard

Decider.com - Katie Santry of Columbus, Ohio has taken the internet by storm after sharing a video earlier this week explaining why she believes her house is “haunted.”

She discovered her laptop screen was shattered and her belongings on the desk in her sun room were disheveled, although she claimed no one had been in the room after around 6:30 p.m. the night before.

She proceeded to share that they are “building a fence” in their backyard, and “dug a hole” in order to do so.

“There is a rolled up carpet buried underground that we came across as we were digging this hole,” she revealed.

In another update, she said that “a tree was planted above the rug.”

“It is called a Bloodgood because this was in the hole,” she continued, showing viewers a slip of paper with the name of the tree on it.

The police arrived with K-9’s, which Santry documented on Thursday, and stunned viewers as two different cadaver dogs honed in on a hole and sat down, inciting further fear and speculation.

However, police officers started excavating on Friday morning, but said in an update that afternoon that they had not found any remains, per 10TV.

I'm not a conspiracy guy nor am I a ghost guy but this is without a doubt some scary shit. Now this also could 100% be someone looking for some clicks on TikTok but if what she is saying is true, it's some scary shit.

The laptop screen being shattered could be anything. Today I woke up and plugged in my laptop and it wouldn't turn on after never giving me an issue for years. I happen to think electronics are fluky like that. Weird shit happens. Is it likely the screen just cracked for absolutely no reason? I don't know but I do know weird shit happens with electronics so I looked past that one and didn't mark it as my biggest reg flag the house was haunted.

The woman does indicate there was some other bizarre shit going on with electronics.

Santry also told TikTokers that her stepson woke up to his phone having only 3% battery, despite his phone being on his charger and having 100% battery before he went to bed.

This adds to her case but again, anyone is lying if they say this hasn't happened to them. Sometimes chargers we think are plugged in aren't. Maybe their were apps running in the background, or the thing just flatout did a reverse charge which has happened. I've seen a phone go backwards in a charger. It drives me bizzerk but it's happened. Two cases help this woman's case, but I wrote this one off as another coincidence. Also it was her stepson so of course a kid could believe they plugged in their charger and didn't. Also kids likely have 100393483839 apps running in the back not closed out.

The real thing that sold me was the rug buried in the yard. Santry had a theory on that one too.

Santry also proposed a theory surrounding her next-door neighbor, who died in her home the day that she moved into their house. Her late neighbor’s home was being boarded up the same day that she noticed the aforementioned seemingly supernatural occurrences.

Ummm yeah lady you got a ghost of a neighbor. No doubt about it. She's haunting your ass and smashing your laptop charger. Some scary shit.

Final tangent, of all the people to scare/haunt, a neighbor would never be in my top 5. I would haunt my enemies, random people or even my friends to get a kick out of it before i haunted my neighbors. Haunting your neighbor is just mean. They help you take in your garbage pails, they warn you about break ins, and they wave to you every morning. Neighbors are the most neutral people in the world, and they would be the last people I haunted. This lady Katie Santry must have pissed off this ghost to no end for something.
